New Direction Coaching & Consulting

About New Direction

New Direction was started in 2019 after the vision came to Dr. Zaria Davis as a result of enduring professional and personal setbacks. Dr. Davis wants to provide support to nonprofit leaders through coaching and facilitation. Her work expands from individual coaching to consulting nonprofit organizations. In addition to leadership development and advocacy facilitation, Dr. Davis would like to address deeper needs related to oppressive systems that impact professionals directly and indirectly in the nonprofit sector. A call to ministry prompted Dr. Davis to focus her education on spiritual care through chaplaincy. Within this work, she is able to support nonprofits, organizations as well as individuals in restorative and healing work within the workplace. Dr. Davis is passionate about restoration and healing for individuals within the workplace.

In 2022, New Direction expanded its consulting arm to include executive searches for nonprofit leadership. Dr. Davis has been able to support leaders obtain executive positions through a collaboration with a diversity search firm. New Direction can provide continued support to clients post-placement. New Direction will expand to provide spiritual care services to people in a holistic care approach that embraces the mind, body, and spirit.
